Suite (50 sqm): consists of two separate rooms, one includes the sleeping area with King Size bed and the other houses a cosy and bright living area. Neat and elegant, they are served by one or two marble bathrooms of Orosei with shower and Jacuzzi. Generous openings, protected by fresh linen curtains, overlook a large private and furnished terrace.
The Villas: Seven villas, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, each enjoy a large private and heated pool with views of Liscia Ruja, the island of Tavolara and San Pantaleo, offering spacious and comfortable spaces. Each villa stands out from the others for its location, size and character which is revealed in the choice of colours and the use of natural fabrics of fine linen and cotton. The bathrooms are conceived as spaces to live fully, entirely covered with Orosei marble, and are equipped with a dressing room, vanity space and the best accessories for maximum comfort. The names of the villas are inspired by the nearby towns or parts of the panorama from Borgo Smeraldo. Born on a promontory that dominates the still wild part of Costa Smeralda, the seven villas of Borgo Smeraldo are built with stone and exposed wood, in the style of the Stazzi, the farmhouses of the north-east of the island.
Each of them houses two or three independent double suites that communicate with a large living area, a kitchen, and an exterior in terracotta and wood around the private pool, heated and surrounded by a natural garden of myrtle, juniper and mastic. It is the most panoramic villa in the village, consisting of two separate houses with two verandas and a private heated pool. In the main house, two suites with private entrances communicate with a living area served by a kitchen. The natural linen and cotton fabrics combine ceramics and accessories declined in all shades of green and grey that create, with the chestnut of the traditional ceiling, a set of luxurious, Mediterranean simplicity. The smaller house is a matrimonial suite with oak and marble floors of Orosei, a double walk-in closet and a hydromassage tub behind the King Size bed. From the garden, which houses the large private heated pool, you can see the sea of the Costa Smeralda, the islands of Soffi and Mortorio, the village of Porto Rotondo, and to the east a large stretch of Gallura landscape, including the rocks of San Pantaleo, to the west.

Exposed stone exterior walls, the characteristic openings of the Stazzi (the rural houses of the region), terracotta verandas sheltered by chestnut pergolas and reeds: Villa Ginepro also fits perfectly into the natural landscape of Borgo Smeraldo. Intense colours of green, gold and pink reign in the double suite, with the chestnut ceiling and reeds, a large vanity area in Orosei marble complete with Jacuzzi, walk-in closet and separate French toilets, as well as in the two large bedrooms with Jacuzzi and independent outdoor access. A kitchen is attached to the living room, a cosy, comfortable and chic that opens onto the private garden with lawn and Mediterranean essences. It is the house of the village as a child would imagine it: different heights, stone exteriors, wooden windows, a small terrace on the upper floor. It houses two double bedroom suites and a living area with a kitchen, where local woods and fine fabrics in the pastel colours of plum and cream, combine carpets and handmade lamps of contemporary taste. The terracotta and juniper stairs lead to the upper floor where there is a third suite formed by a romantic sleeping area overlooking the sea, a vanity space with a double walk-in closet and a granite and wrought iron terrace from which the morning sun enters. It is perhaps the most elegant suite in the village, with its mélange of colours ranging from cream to turquoise, from gold to green and the traditional ceiling in reeds and chestnut beams. In the private garden, on the side that sees the sunset, there is the private heated pool with teak pool, local stone and terracotta.

In the centre of the village, surrounded by its garden of lawn and Mediterranean essences, it houses two completely independent suites, a suite and a bedroom that communicate with a beautiful living room that opens onto a covered veranda with a dining area. Red and orange, like the fruits of the strawberry tree, are the protagonists of the fabrics chosen for the furnishings and accessories, which stand out on the neutral and restful tones of the walls, the large sofas and bed covers in linen and cotton, Terracotta floors and traditional ceilings in chestnut beams give the awareness of being in a typical Sardinian estate. Here the aperitif is not always at the edge of the private heated pool, but also on the small terrace on the roof of the villa: from here the gaze embraces a vast panorama of sea, rocks and pure Gallura countryside.

It’s the largest of the villas in Borgo Smeraldo. It houses 4 bedrooms and double suites with independent access, a living area served by a kitchen and a covered veranda with a dining area in the private garden. The interiors are surprising for the originality of the combinations, the typical chestnut and cane ceilings, created by the best local artisans, combine contemporary furnishing elements creating a simple and refined refinement that plays with the tones of turquoise and turquoise. Orosei marble bathrooms have large vanity spaces and a whirlpool tub in the room. Each room has independent access to the outside and to the private heated pool with solarium. On a lower floor, there is a depandance for guests or domestic staff.

In a secluded position with spectacular views of Capo Figari and Tavolara. Two buildings were built with exposed stone, measured openings, ceilings in chestnut beams and reeds according to the typical local style, each house had a double bedroom suite with a large bathroom area in Orosei stone. The main building welcomes guests in a comfortable living area served by a large room equipped with a kitchen that also serves the outdoor veranda with a dining area. The furnishings are illuminated by light shades of sand that create a relaxing contrast with the woods and the handmade terracotta floors. From the solarium, by the heated swimming pool, you can enjoy the total privacy of a pristine natural landscape.

One of the largest villas in Borgo Smeraldo, born on two levels: the upper floor consists of a living area with a kitchen and a panoramic terrace from which you can see the sun rising from the sea, the lower level is occupied by three double suites with private entrance that create a sheltered and collected court around the large private heated pool and surrounded by a terracotta and teak floor. Fabrics, carpets, sofas and cushions have been designed to give each suite a unique flavour of refined craftsmanship. The colours are declined in shades of blue and sand. From the villa, you can enjoy a splendid view of the cross of San Pantaleo, the sea of Porto Rotondo and the island of Tavolara, from which it takes its name. A thick Mediterranean scrub mixed with high rocks, on which the hawks nest, completes the landscape.
A holiday to taste
La Pergola Restaurant, on the Borgo square, is the new gourmet restaurant on the Costa Smeralda, a discreet and secluded place for lovers of good cuisine made mainly with local products. On the menu, the Chef offers a simple and refined gastronomic journey that includes gourmet pizza and homemade bread. The cellar is precious, offering an original selection of excellent Sardinian and Venetian wines.
Entertainment and activities
Activities at sea: Borgo Smeraldo provides the guests with exclusive excursions to the islands of Sardinia and Corsica on sailboats and motorboats of any type and size. Guests can also practice diving and snorkelling thanks to the assistance of professionals in the sector, in the waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park and in the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara. In the nearby bay of Cala di Volpe, you can practise water skiing, while not far from the village there is Porto Pollo, a paradise for windsurfing and kitesurfing, famous for its sand dunes, the international public and the world championships of the two specialities that take place there.
Activities on land: A few minutes from Borgo Smeraldo, the Pevero Golf Club, 18 holes PAR 72, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. has been ranked among the best 50 courses in the world. Excursions to the many archaeological sites in the area are possible. We are in an area rich in archaic monuments such as the Dolmens and the Giants' Tombs erected in areas that are said to be "energetic" starting from the second millennium BC. Other sites are home to the famous nuraghe, towers of enormous stones built, in the same era, by the ancient Sardinian civilization.
