Located in the southwestern part of Sardinia, it is about 45 km from Cagliari.

Structure and services

Completely renovated in 2016, Hotel Il Castello is an oasis of luxury and exclusivity, located just a few meters from the sea. The hotel's stunning lobby overlooks the Bandiere Bar, famous for its inimitable cocktails. Guests of Hotel Il Castello are treated to a wonderful heated swimming pool overlooking the sea and directly connected to the beach. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel for a fee, free parking.

Where to live

Rooms and Suites, equipped with large balconies and magnificent terraces, offer spectacular views of the sea or pine forest; furnishings pay homage to the colors of Sardinian craftsmanship and the most contemporary design. Further renovation has recently been made to the Executive Mare rooms and Suites, including the Royal Suite. All rooms have air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar, safe, bathroom with shower and bathtub (some with whirlpool and some of the Prestige and Prestige Plus with color therapy). Barbie™ set-up for little girls is available upon request and at extra charge. Rooms at Hotel Castello are available in three categories: Hotel Castello Main Building, Hotel Castello Garden Bungalows and Hotel Castello Suite Executive Floors.

Hotel Castello main building, is divided into the following types:

Superior Room (25 sqm): twin or double room, balcony on the pine forest side. Possibility of communicating rooms.
Superior Garden (29 sqm): twin or double room with balcony overlooking the garden. Possibility of 3rd child bed or crib and communicating rooms.
Superior Mare (28 sqm): twin or double room with balcony overlooking the sea side. Possibility of 3rd child bed or crib.
Executive Mare (32 sqm): modern and spacious room consisting of twin or double room, balcony overlooking the sea side and pool. Possibility of 3rd child bed or crib and connecting rooms.
Executive Mare Plus (35 sqm): like Executive Mare but more spacious, possibility of 3rd child bed and crib.
De Luxe Patio (28 sqm): twin or double room on ground floor with patio; possibility of third child bed.
Prestige (30 sqm + 27 sqm terrace): spacious and comfortable, each with two Queen Size beds and a beautiful sea-side terrace. Some rooms have a whirlpool bath and chromotherapy. Possibility of third child bed and connecting rooms.
Prestige Plus (35 sqm + 30 sqm terrace): elegant and comfortable, have two Queen Size beds. The sleeping area is slightly elevated above the living room, which opens onto a beautiful sea-side terrace. The bathroom has a whirlpool tub and chromotherapy shower in some cases. Extra bed on request. Possibility of third child bed and connecting rooms.

Hotel Castello Garden, is divided into the following types:

Deluxe Bungalow (30-33 sq m): completely renovated consists of a double bungalow with the possibility of adding a third bed. The bathroom has a shower and in some cases with a separate bathtub. Patio and garden. Possibility of third child bed.
Luxury Family Bungalow (44 sqm): on the ground floor with patio and garden, completely renovated consists of double bedroom, living room with sofa bed separated from the room by a sliding door and bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Ideal for families of four or five with up to three children under 13 years old.
Luxury Family Roof Bungalow (44 sqm): like the previous one but located on the second floor with a terrace.
De Luxe Family Bungalow (37-42 sqm): has a bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower and a living room with a sofa that can be converted into two beds or replaced by two beds; ground floor with patio. The bungalow is ideal for families with two children under 13 years old.

Hotel Castello Suites Executive Floors: a masterpiece of elegance, luxury and intimacy. Suites on the Executive Floors of the Hotel Castello are located on the 4th and 5th floors, and are reached by a private elevator. These rooms offer spectacular views of the sea on the horizon and of the resort grounds stretching to the mountains. Imperial Suite, Royal Suite, Nora Suite, Bithia Suite, Presidential Suite and Junior Suite are available. Rooms have DVD player and Hi-Fi system in addition to other amenities. 3 Charming Suites (1 on the first + 1 on the second + 1 on the third).

Breakfast and dinner are served at the Cavalieri Restaurant. Executive floor guests can also dine at Le Dune and Belvedererestaurants, by reservation and at no extra charge. Children's Restaurant, a facility designed to cater to all the needs of the little ones with a menu that includes appealing dishes while also paying attention to good food and health. Some gourmet and a la carte restaurants, on the other hand, require reservations and a supplement: Heinz Beck, San Domenico and others. Lunch, for a fee, can be taken at waterfront restaurants or snack bars. Cooking for celiacs.

Awarded as the "Best Family and Sport Resort in the World," Forte Village provides its guests with a further expanded sports area with 13 tennis courts, 12 clay, 1 concrete, all with lighting, 2 artificial turf soccer fields, 1 regulation grass soccer field, jogging track, trainers for tennis lessons, aerobics, swimming, windsurfing, water skiing and many more. Gym with Technogym equipment and personal trainers. Bicycle rental, use of tennis courts, equipment rental, sports lessons, children's soccer school, scuba diving and sailing (lasers, catamarans), bowling, go-kart rental, riding stables are available for a fee; shopping is guaranteed in Luisa Square, further enriched with new boutiques.

Acquaforte SPA, known for its thalasso pool circuit offers a wide range of specialized disciplines led by industry leaders (major work has been done on pool covers to improve their use in spring and fall).
The brand new Forte Arena, an extraordinary open-air theater for high-level performances with internationally renowned guests. Leisureland area inside which is the Forte Fortissimo Disco. Is Molas Golf Club (10 km from the resort).

Children'sWonderland, a true oasis of greenery offering a great selection of activities, sports, workshops and fun, and the development of "Children's Wonderland" with Mario's Village and Barbie House. Fundacion Real Madrid Football Academy to offer children important trainings with the professional coaches of the Spanish team, activities, game techniques and in the evening the game. The week will end with a final tournament and awards ceremony. Sport Academies, Tennis and Rugby. Swimming, Basketball, Bike, Netball, Boxing and Dancing, Aquapark and Playground.
