Location

Located in the southwestern part of Sardinia, it is about 45 km from Cagliari.

Of very white sand, it extends in length in front of the Resort, umbrellas and sunbeds included.

Structure and services

Completely renovated in 2016, Hotel Il Castello is an oasis of luxury and exclusivity, located a few meters from the sea. The hotel’s beautiful lobby overlooks the Bar Bandiere, famous for its inimitable cocktails. A wonderful heated pool with sea views and a direct connection to the beach is reserved for guests of the Hotel Il Castello. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel for a fee. There is a parking area.

The guest areas

The Rooms and Suites, equipped with large balconies and magnificent terraces, offer a spectacular view of the sea or the pine forest; the furniture pays tribute to the colours of Sardinian craftsmanship and the most contemporary design. A further renovation of the Executive Mare Rooms and Suites, including the Royal Suite, has been recently carried out. All rooms have air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar, safe, and bathroom with shower and bath (some with hydromassage and some of the Prestige and Prestige Plus with chromotherapy). The Barbie ™ outfit for girls is available on request and with payment of a supplement. The rooms of the Hotel Castello are available in three categories: Hotel Castello Main Building, Hotel Castello Garden Bungalows and Hotel Castello Suite Executive Floors of the Hotel.

Hotel Castello Main Building is divided into the following types:

Superior Room (25 sqm): double or twin room, balcony facing the pine forest. Possibility of connecting rooms.
Superior Garden (29 sqm): double or twin room with balcony overlooking the garden. Possibility of the 3rd child bed or cot and connecting rooms.
Superior Mare (28 sqm): double or twin room with balcony facing the seaside. Possibility of the 3rd child bed or cot.
Executive Mare (32 sqm): modern and spacious room, consisting of double or twin room, balcony facing the sea and the pool. Possibility of the 3rd child bed or cot and connecting rooms.
Executive Mare Plus (35 sqm): like the Executive Mare but more spacious, with the possibility of the third child bed and cot.
De Luxe Patio (28 mq): double or twin room on the ground floor with patio; the possibility of the third childbed.
Prestige (30 sqm + 27 sqm terrace): spacious and comfortable, each with two Queen Size beds and a beautiful terrace facing the sea. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi and chromotherapy. Possibility of third childbed and connecting rooms.
Prestige Plus (35 sqm + 30 sqm terrace): elegant and comfortable, they have two Queen Size beds. The sleeping area is slightly raised above the living room which opens onto a beautiful terrace facing the sea. The bathroom has a hydromassage bath and chromotherapy shower in some cases. Extra bed on request. Possibility of the third childbed and connecting rooms.

Hotel Castello Garden is divided into the following types:

Deluxe Bungalow (30-33 sqm): completely renovated and consists of a double bungalow with the possibility of adding a third bed. The bathroom has a shower and in some cases a separate bathtub. Patio and garden. Possibility of the third childbed.
Luxury Family Bungalow (44 sqm): on the ground floor with patio and garden, completely renovated consists of a double bedroom, living room with sofa bed separated from the room by a sliding door and bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Ideal for families of four or five with up to three children under 13.
Luxury Family Roof Bungalow (44 sqm): as the previous one but located on the first floor with a terrace.
De Luxe Family Bungalow (37-42 sqm): has a bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower and a living room with a sofa that can be transformed into two beds or replaced by two beds; on the ground floor with a patio. The bungalow is ideal for families with two children under 13 years.

Hotel Castello Suite Executive Floors of the Hotel: a masterpiece of elegance, luxury and intimacy. The suites of the Executive Floors of Hotel Castello are located on the 4th and 5th floors. They can be reached by a private lift. These rooms offer spectacular views of the sea on the horizon and the resort grounds that stretch all the way to the mountains. Available Imperial Suite, Royal Suite, Nora Suite, Bithia Suite, Presidential Suite and Junior Suite. Apart from all other services the rooms are equipped with a DVD player and a Hi-Fi system.

 
A holiday of taste

Breakfast and dinner are served at the Cavalieri Restaurant. Guests on the Executive floor can also dine at the Le Dune and Belvedere restaurants, by reservation and at no extra charge. There is a restaurant for children, a structure designed to meet all the needs of children with a menu that includes captivating but also healthy dishes. Some gourmet and à la carte restaurants require reservations and a supplementary charge: Heinz Beck, San Domenico and others. Lunch, for a fee, can be enjoyed at the restaurants on the seafront or at the snack bars. Cuisine for celiacs.

Activities and Entertainment

Awarded "Best Family and Sport Resort in the World", Forte Village has 13 tennis courts: 12 clay courts,1 concrete court, all with lighting, 2 five-a-side football pitches with synthetic grass, 1 regular grass football pitch, jogging path,  tennis coach, aerobics, swimming, windsurfing, water skiing and many more activities. Gym with TechnoGym equipment and personal trainers. For hire:  bikes, use of tennis courts, sports equipment, sports lessons, football school for children, scuba diving and sailing (laser, catamarans), bowling, go-kart rental, riding stables. Shopping is guaranteed in Piazza Luisa, further enriched with new boutiques.

The Acquaforte Spa, known for its thalasso swimming pool circuit, offers a wide range of specialist disciplines led by industry leaders (an important work has been carried out to improve the use of swimming pools in spring and autumn).

The brand new Forte Arena is an extraordinary open-air theatre for high-level shows with internationally renowned guests. Leisureland area where the Forte Fortissimo Discotheque is located. Is Molas Golf Club (10 km from the Resort). 

Children's Wonderland, a green oasis that offers a huge choice of activities, sports, workshops and fun, and the ‘Children's Wonderland with Mario's Village and Barbie House. Fundacion Real Madrid Football Academy offers children important training sessions with professional coaches from the Spanish team, activities, game techniques and in the evening a match. The week finishes with a tournament and awards ceremony. Sports academies, tennis and rugby. Swimming, basketball, cycling, netball, boxing, dancing, Acquapark and park games.
