Marina Rey Beach Resort

Location

Located in Muravera, in front of the lovely beach of Piscina Rei and a short distance from the Capo Ferrato promontory; about 16 km from Villasimius and 60 km from Cagliari (one hour by car/bus).

Beach

A highlight of the resort, the fine white sandy beach is equipped with one umbrella and two sunbeds per room (independent of the number of room occupants) from the 3rd row (the first and second rows are chargeable and bookable on site).

The beach (approx. 500 meters away from the main building), can be reached by walking inside the Resort on a convenient level walkway or traveling by a convenient electric shuttle, with a pick-up point at the beginning of the walkway. Important and convenient Beach Bar, with attached toilets and showers, located a few steps from the Resort's private beach concession.

Structure and services

It stands on a private protected area of more than 5 hectares, and consists of semi-detached houses surrounded by colorful gardens with intense fragrances, connected by convenient paths that harmoniously lead to the sea.

Facilities: 24-hour reception with TV area, central bar, open-air theater area for evening shows, Mini-Club area with outdoor playground, adult pool with non-separated degrading area also suitable for children, bazaar (with tobacco, newspapers, beach complements, souvenirs, gifts and personal care items), tennis and soccer courts outside the resort 10 minutes away, connected by free shuttle service, indoor outdoor Fitness area. For a fee: laundry and ironing service, baby-sitting service, bike, car and beach towel rental, cab service, photographer and extra meals to your full-board treatment. Packet lunches/dinners are available on request and substitute for restaurant meals already included and provided in the booked treatment; private outdoor, uncovered and unattended parking. Wi-Fi: Free connection with coverage in common areas (reception, central bar and pool). Pets, allowed, in limited number and upon request, small dogs, cats, rabbits and birds, max. 5 kg, at a cost of Euro 10 per night plus Euro 70 for final sanitation of the room. Pets, to be kept on a leash or in a carrier, are not allowed to access services such as: restaurant, swimming pool, solarium and beach concession.

216 rooms furnished in typical Sardinian style, all with patio or veranda, located in several ground-floor cottages or two-story, air-conditioned buildings, surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation. They are divided into:

Double Rooms: with two single beds or double bed, have patio or veranda equipped with small table, chairs, ashtray and linen rack, private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, courtesy set, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, electronic safe, minibar (consumptions at extra charge), LCD TV.
Triple Rooms: with three single beds or double bed + additional single bed, have patio or veranda equipped with table, chairs, ashtray and clothesline, private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, courtesy set, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, electronic safe, minibar (consumptions paid), LCD TV.
Quadruple Rooms: with double bed + 1 extra bunk bed, they have a patio or veranda equipped with table, chairs, ashtray and clothesline, private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, courtesy set, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, electronic safe, minibar (consumptions at extra charge), LCD TV.
Two-room Family Room: composed of double room, single bathroom with shower, with double bed and single bed + room with 2 single beds, are equipped with patio or veranda equipped with table, chairs, ashtray and clothesline, hair dryer, courtesy set, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, electronic safe, minibar (consumptions at extra charge).

A vacation to enjoy

the Resort has a highly appreciated restaurant with two rooms, one of which has a covered veranda open on two sides and an air-conditioned indoor one. The service offers daily a wide gastronomic variety in a serene and informal atmosphere with assigned table for the main meals, with buffet service. Breakfast, in addition to the usual cafeteria, offers a wide selection of sweet and savory foods. For lunch and dinner, the rich and varied menu includes specialty dishes from typical Sardinian and national cuisine, with bottled natural or sparkling water and white or red house wine on tap included with meals. Two theme evenings are planned during the week; one Sardinian, with typical regional dishes, and one "del pescatore" with fish (alternative meat and/or vegetarian dishes are always present). The restaurant does not offer a dedicated vegetarian and/or vegan menu; the kitchen may offer a dish that meets the diet followed if the buffet does not include any option corresponding to that dietary choice (e.g., pasta with vegetables). Intolerances: Packaged staples (bread, pasta, cookies, etc.) are available for guests with food intolerances (such as gluten or lactose). It is always required to report any food intolerances when making reservations and at check-in. The Resort does not have a separate area for gluten-free cooking, so no guarantee can be given that non-packaged products are free of contamination. Baby Bottle Room: available for toddlers, an unassisted room equipped with hot plates, sink, refrigerator, bottle warmer, microwave, blender, sterilizer, pots, pans, dishes and placemats. In addition, cooked and uncooked staples are available: vegetable broth, vegetable puree, fresh gravy, pastries, fresh milk, yogurt, mallets, cookies, herbal teas, tea, and fresh fruit. Milk (liquid and powdered) and specific early childhood products such as baby food are excluded.

Entertainment and activities

the engaging Animation team brightens the days with a program of games, recreational activities, tournaments, aerobics and dance, for a fun-filled stay and evening entertainment with piano bar and shows in the amphitheater. For children: Mini-Club (4/12 years), morning and afternoon and Young Club (12/17 years) for older children, with dedicated staff assistance. Mini-Club: has dedicated staff for the little ones with fun, educational and recreational activities, divided by age groups: 4/8 years and 8/12 years. Junior Club: has dedicated staff to give teenagers (12/17 years old) the opportunity to socialize in the company of peers during appointments, events and activities dedicated to them.
The Club Card (compulsory from 5 years of age and to be paid on arrival on site at the same time as the tourist tax in the amount established by the Municipality of Muravera) includes: daytime and evening entertainment, Mini-Club (4/12 years) and Young Club (12/17 years), use of sports and recreational equipment, beach service with one umbrella and two sunbeds per room from the 3rd row (independent of the number of occupants of the room), swimming pool with solarium equipped with showers, sunbeds and umbrellas subject to availability, beach volleyball court, playground, canoes, pedal boats and shuttle to and from the tennis courts and soccer fields outside the Resort.
