The Unesco Nuragic Site of Barumini and the Giara di Gesturi

A very easy walk along the beautiful basaltic plateau of the Giara di Gesturi, to discover the bushes of the maquis and look for its inhabitants: the little wild horses of the Giara!

After a short stop in Barumini, we will visit the most important archaeological site on the island, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the visit you will walk through the largest nuragic village and enter its majestic towers, built 1400 years BC.

Before returning to Cagliari, we will visit the Casa Zapata Archaeological Museum.
