Palau, a pretty town at the far end of the northern coast of Sardinia, is the starting point for the island of La Maddalena. From its colorful port, there are many daily connections to the island and many excursions with all types of boats to discover the crystal clear waters and pristine beaches of the archipelago.
The city, established at the end of the 19th century and inhabited by four thousand residents in winter and by tens of thousands of tourists in summer, offers visitors events and a lively social life. Clubs, bars, restaurants, the evening market, make it a very popular destination even for young people.
